During Phase 1 of the NFL’s new-age virtual workout program, the Seattle Seahawks were Zoom-bombed by an Old School visitor. While the Seahawks were conducting a virtual meeting to introduce some of the incoming Seattle players to their new teammates on Thursday, comedian Will Ferrell showed up doing an impersonation of new tight end Greg Olsen.
Ferrell cut right to the chase, telling quarterback Russell Wilson, “I mean, I love you. Let’s make a baby.”
The 52-year-old actor — who is a part-owner of Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles FC — has impersonated athletes in the past. He played a basketball player in Semi-Pro, a figure skater in Blades of Glory and a NASCAR driver in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.

The prank was undoubtedly Seattle head coach Pete Carrol’s idea. “We are looking for all of the edges that we can find and the nuances that we can create that will make this a really special and unique time that will be meaningful,’’ Carroll said last week.
Ferrell graduated from USC with a degree in Sports Information in 1990 and has been tight with Carroll since the longtime Seahawks coach helped revive the California school’s football program from 2001-09.
Olsen, Ferrell’s muse, signed a one-year, $7 million contract with Seattle in February.
