GoPro recently sent professional multi-sport athlete Chuck Patterson there to try his hand at something a little bit different: using snow skis instead of a surfboard to ride the curls.
The spot in question was located on the north shore of Maui, Hawaii, where you’ll find the famous surfing break known as Pe’ahi, or “Jaws.” (The opening sequence of Bond movie Die Another Day was filmed there.)
With the help of a friendly tow in from a jetski and some nerves of steel, Patterson pulls it off like the pro that he is.
