We know it’s hard to imagine, but there was actually something funnier during last night’s Monday Night Football broadcast than the Rams’ pathetic attempts at moving the ball on offense.
With the 49ers up 21-0 in the fourth quarter, a drunk guy ran on the field, took off his shirt and picked up more yards in 30 seconds than L.A.’s newest sports team was able to muster all night.
The TV audience for the game wasn’t privvy to the man’s antics (it’s common practice for televised broadcast’s to ignore streakers in a mostly futile effort to discourage future runners-on-the-field), but sports radio legend Kevin Harlan delivered a magnum opus of a play-by-play call for Westwood One.
Here’s Harlan’s call synced with a fan video of what went down on the field via Deadspin’s Kyle Madson.
