Michigan State University Athletic Director Mark Hollis is the latest school official to resign in the aftermath of the Larry Nasser case, after tendering his resignation Friday. School president Lou Anna Simon resigned on Wednesday. Hollis started with the athletics department in 1995, assuming the role of director in 2008. Though there’s no evidence thus far that Hollis was made directly aware of Nasser’s abuses, six women have said they alerted an employee of the athletics department about Nasser’s actions, and little was done about it. Many of the women whom Nasser abused played on Michigan State athletics teams. Hollis said in a statement that he will continue to comply with the NCAA’s investigation into the Nasser case.
