Finally, an App That Puts All Your Ridesharing Apps in One Place

Instant price comparison and booking? Say no more.

The number of ridesharing apps is too damn high.

By the time you open each one and plug in your destination to figure out who’s offering the cheapest fare, at least one of those fares has surely shifted. It is a maddening and ultimately futile process.

Which is why we’re over the moon that someone finally invented Bellhop, a price comparison app for all your car/taxi hailing services. It’ll ask you where you’re going and then compare rates across Uber, Lyft and other rideshare companies, including rates for individual car types (e.g. UberX vs UberBlack). You can then book straight from the app, saving an average of 20% per ride while doing so (or so Bellhop claims).

A few caveats: You’ll have to connect all the services through your app (a one-time deal), and right now you’re really just dealing with Uber and Lyft, with a promise that “Curb, Juno and many others” are coming soon. But hey, it’s free, so just put it on your phone next to your dusty Hailo, Gett and Via apps and wait for the service to get a little more robust.
