Best place to start (or replenish) your collection: Vnyl, a recently launched online service that just went brick and mortar in Venice Beach.
The online part of the op is a subscription service that curates and delivers you three new records per month.
The shop is on Abbot Kinney, opened last week and throws a helluva party.
Both organize their selections by hashtag: #lazysaturday, #danceparty and #betweenthesheets.
And the store — in the old Jack Spade house — is minimal in offering so as not to overwhelm. And comfy, so you can plop down at one of nine listening stations to sample the goods.
Curators work the online version and cull your personal digital subscriptions (Spotify, LastFM, Soundcloud, et al) to find the tunes best suited for you.
