Twelve different takes on ribs from twelve of L.A.’s best chefs. That’s what’s on tap at Food GPS’s First Annual Rib Fest, set in Chinatown’s neon-lit Central Plaza. From the dry-aging master at chi SPACCA to curing king Chris Oh, this event will be a finger-licking frenzy. Added bonus: The Warwick guys are mixing the drinks. Grab a ticket now because this event will sell out.
Get a post-prandial libation at the recently spiffed-up Melody Lounge. It’s still pretty divey, with dangling lanterns set to very dim. But now they’re serving choice craft brews like Angel City and Hangar 24. Bottoms up.
