Wheels on luggage — great idea. Until you start carting ‘em through airports, and you realize how unsteady and wobbly those rollers truly are.

G-RO, launched in 2016 as most successful crowdfunded luggage campaign in history (combined $4.7 million on Kickstarter and Indiegogo), solved this by outfitting their travel gear with rough-terrain dual-wheels (trademarked as “GravityRoll” technology) built into the side of the bags. Forget airports — these carry-ons can traverse sidewalks, cobblestone and rough/wet roadways. (The long, ergonomic handles don’t hurt, either).

The expandable luggage comes with removable 10,000 mAh power banks, luggage straps for attaching an additional bag and multiple handles and external pockets.

Currently, G-RO is offering $50-$300 off its Classic and Carbon Fiber lines, which cover both carry-ons and check-in bags. Sale ends Saturday.
