Sergio Tacchini New Young Line Sneaker
The footwear world certainly isn’t lacking for sneakers with a court-shoe silhouette these days, but OG tennis brand Sergio Tacchini’s re-released New Young Line comes with proper pedigree. Originally released in the ’80s (an era when Tacchini’s shoes were rocked by the likes of Pete Sampras), the New Young Line was rebuilt to spec using 3D technology to achieve the court-ready profile that originally made it so popular. In short, they’re court shoes that look like you could actually play tennis in (and, quite frankly, you could). Plus 20% of proceeds go to Food Bank of New York City to help out during the COVID crisis. Serve’s up.
Ski Town All-Stars COVID Valley Relief Project
Vail Valley powderhounds/hatmakers Ski Town All Stars have partnered with fellow Coloradans 970 Design on a series of caps benefitting the Salvation Army and Speak Up Reach Out (a local suicide prevention organization) to assist in their coronavirus efforts. Throwback vibes + positive message = a lid that’s guaranteed to get you a thumbs up out on the streets.
Theragun Mini
The Theragun mini is about as heavy as a desk paperweight, at 1.2 pounds, and fits easily into the palm of an outstretched hand. There’s an oval groove on the front of the device which serves as an ergonomic grip. On the side, there’s a small slot to connect the machine via plug to an outlet, and above it there’s a start button that can be pressed to shift between three different modes: 1750, 2100, and 2400 PPM. The closed-cell foam attachment at the end connects with the body at a clip of 40 times per second. After experimenting with the mini for a couple weeks, using it before runs, after lifts, or absentmindedly while sitting at my desk doing work, I’ve come to rely on muscle relief in the same way that I appreciated the G3PRO.
Revival Rugs The Elemental Collection
For their summer collection, rug brand Revival gleaned inspiration from early nomadic weaving techniques to create shag rugs that imbue one’s home with a sense of warmth. The rugs are made from the finest New Zealand wool and rather than hand-tufted or hand-loomed, are made using traditional methods to ensure less shedding and more durability overall. The new designs have a distinctly Southwestern feel to them, ideal for the sunshine and warmth on the horizon. Plus, these three rugs are only a preview of the collection, meaning more rugs to come.
Todd Snyder x Timex Liquor Store Watch in Olive
You may have a Todd Snyder x Timex in your possession already, but the Liquor Store timepiece stands out by finding a middle ground between the zany releases and the elegant ones. Stan x Rowing Blazers
Designed by artist and surfer Tristan Detwiler, Stan takes 100% vintage and upcycled textiles to craft their supremely unique outerwear. The result is often one-of-a-kind jackets made out of mismatched quilts or even a 1930s feedsack, creating not just a jacket but a piece of history. More than clothing, the pieces are a new form in which to tell a story and convey the past. Naturally, considering the rarity and delicacy of the fabrics used, the jackets are on the expensive side. But remember, it’s not just a jacket.

If you’ve ever wondered what a rosé by rapper Post Malone would taste like, you can find out as soon as next month. Many of the details surrounding the Maison No. 9 wine have been kept hush-hush, save for a promotional photo of Posty holding a glass while looking pensive, but you can go ahead and sign up for pre-sale. We have to admit the bottle looks pretty damn fancy, and in the words of Post Malone himself, “Rosé is for when you want to get a little fancy.”
Amazon All-New Fire HD 8 Tablet
Amazon’s Fire HD tablets aren’t nearly equal to my iPad, but they have affordability on their side. And if you’re comfortable in the Amazon ecosystem (Amazon Music, Prime Video, Kindle reading, etc.) they’re a good, cheap option. And now they’re getting powerful. The just-launched Fire HD 8 features 2 GB RAM and 32-64 GB of internal storage — and up to 1 TB with a microSD card. It now utilizes USB-C for quicker charging, and the new 2.0 GHz quad-core processor promises speeds up to 30% faster. Add in a 12-hour battery life per charge, and you pretty much have an Amazon tablet that’s doubled the capabilities of the Fire 7. And prices start at just $90.
Warby Parker Sun Series
Summer is practically here, and you need some new sunglasses. Luckily, Warby Parker has just released their Sun Series, a collection of sixteen new sunglass styles. The mostly unisex sunglasses range from classic silhouettes, like the square Griffin or the rounded Percey, to more unusual vintage-inspired styles, like the Britten and Landy. And before you despair about not being able to try them on, just use the brand’s social-distancing friendly virtual try-on feature through their iPhone app.
Martini Rossi Frosé and Frosecco
I never quite embraced frosé, but I drink enough of it during the summer to understand its modest appeal. Frozen prosecco, though? That I would actually seek out. So just as the weather just hit 80 here in the Northeast comes the exciting news that Italian wine/vermouth brand Martini & Rossi is launching two ready-to-drink wine cocktails. You can drink ’em from the pouch — like grown-up Capri Sun – or in a glass (because you’re an adult) and get ready to enjoy these fairly strong (6.5% ABV) sippers when we’re all finally allowed to step outside.
HAY x Suicoke
Swedish design brand HAY is making their foray into footwear with Japanese sandal brand Suicoke. The collaboration takes Suicoke’s popular (and comfortable) Depa sandal and renders them in three new colorways. Unlike the footwear brand’s usual black colorway, these ones come in an array of HAY approved colors, similar to what they would use for their dish and glassware — think mint, pale pink and burnt orange. Unfortunately, the sandals are only available through HAY’s Copenhagen store, but we have a feeling they might pop up on some resale sites in the near future.
adidas Stan Smith Slip-On Shoes
We say mule, Adidas says slip-on — whatever you want to call the latest version of the iconic Stan Smith, we can all agree that these are about to become the shoe of the summer. You could certainly pick up a pair of the classic white and everyone will nod politely in approval, or you could take advantage of the absolutely bonkers second colorway that’s officially called Tribe Yellow but looks more to us like someone slathered them with Heinz mustard. Like we said: shoe of summer.
Vans Mules SF
Another mule! This one from Vans takes their already easy to wear Slip-On and makes taking it on and off even easier by getting rid of the heel altogether.
