We’ve spent a lot of time professing our love of 4K TVs under a $1,000 or even $500.

The caveat is always that they’re “good enough.” And for a lot of people, you’ll get something perfectly fine for three figures that’ll offer up a great picture and enough built-in smarts to keep you happy during your living room Netflix binges.

But if you want your screen to truly own your space, you’ll want the LG OLED65C8P. It’s a 65-inch beauty with a built-in AI that makes your device smart and voice powered, and a proprietary a9 Intelligent Processor that ups the sharpness, depth and color accuracy.

As for accolades: This LG unit won the Best of CES 2018 award for “Best TV Product,” the company itself products the world’s best-selling OLED displays and the TV is Amazon’s current best-seller in OLEDs (which is the thinner, superior technology over LCD screens, though not always the best value).

Right now the LG is $2199, the second-lowest price ever on Amazon and just three dollars more than we’ve seen anywhere else at any point. You could also save $600 more if you drop down to a 55” screen.

Put it this way: Owning an award-winning screen like this means you get to put off buying a $34,000 8K screen for several years.
