Long before it became a viral sensation on TikTok, Tajín has been used to spice up Margarita rims, dress crispy morsels of fried chicken and dust slices of sweet mango on street food carts across Mexico and the United States. Now, fans don’t have to wait until the lunch hour to get their fix of the peppery, salty, tangy condiment. Today, Pop-Tarts announced a limited-edition kit that includes Tajín Clasico Seasoning and its Fruity Chamoy Hot Sauce to add a kick to the toaster pastry. The kits will be offered alongside Pop-Tart flavors like Frosted Strawberry, Frosted Wild Berry and Peach Cobbler.

“As a brand, we love to challenge conventions and defy expectations, and, with the superstar power of Tajín, we knew we could inspire our fans with an unexpected, ingenious combination,” Heidi Ray, Senior Director of Marketing, Portable Wholesome Snacks, said in a statement. “Tajín shares our dedication to unique flavors, so they were the perfect partner to embrace this ‘Crazy Bueno’ idea.”

Sweet and savory breakfasts are nothing new. Yet for some, this combination might seem more “crazy” than “bueno.” Is it really necessary to add more seasonings to flavors like Hot Fudge Sundae and Frosted Gingerbread? Has our collective love of hot sauce gone too far? No matter your opinion, a sugary breakfast pastry topped with salty chili pepper and hot sauce is sure to kick your sleepy brain into high gear.

The limited-edition Pop-Tarts Tajín breakfast collab kit will be available for purchase from October 25 to October 27 through the Pop-Tarts Instagram store and kelloggstore.com/pop-tarts-tajin for $10.
