Sir Elton John to Retire After One Last Global Tour

Speaking in New York, Sir Elton John announced to reporters on Wednesday that he planned to retire after one final and lengthy world tour, the BBC reports.

“I always thought I was going to be like Ray Charles, BB King – on the road forever,” he reportedly said.

“My priorities have changed. We had children and I changed our lives. That doesn’t mean to say I’m not going to be creative. but I’m not going to travel.”

John denied any issues with health, saying he wanted to give the world  “the most fantastic show I’ve ever done.”
