Seth Meyers has a difficult job this Sunday, as he hosts his first Golden Globes, an event that will double as the first major public Hollywood gathering since this fall’s sexual harassment reckoning. In a new Vanity Fair article, Meyers discusses his plans for the show, including a focus on changing Hollywood instead of aiming at the easier target in Washington. Meyers sees the movement to expose abuse in Hollywood as an opportunity for progress. “For as bad as the stories we’ve heard have been—and they’ve been really bad—I feel like there’s this chance, and this idea, that there’s this moment of empowerment happening, and maybe this course of history is going to change,” Meyers told Vanity Fair.
