Late-night comedian Trevor Noah was flabbergasted Wednesday night after White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters that the White House “couldn’t guarantee” that the president never used the offensive racial epithet on tape.
“What do you mean, you can’t guarantee it? I feel like this should be the easiest question ever, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders still can’t answer it confidently,” Noah said. “It’s like your wife asking, ‘Harold, can you guarantee me that I’ll never see an underwater sex tape with you and Bigfoot?’ And you go, ‘Look, honey, I can’t guarantee anything. I do know that I love you, though.’”
