Diamonds are forever.
They’re also really pricy, which is why TAG Heuer’s decision to put 589 of ‘em on their standard Connected Modular 45 ticker has instantly made it the most expensive smartwatch in the world. With a 45mm case that’s already decked out in 18-karat white gold, the Swiss-made Full Diamond has 78 baguette-cut diamonds on its bezel, 16 on its horns and 495 on its strap.
Water-resistant to 164 feet, the watch was developed with input from Intel and Google, and features a high-def OLED screen powered by an Android Wear operating system that offers features like contactless payment, an accelerometer, GPS, microphone and 4GB of storage space.
As was the case with its blingless predecessor, the components on the modular Full Diamond can be removed and replaced based on its owner’s mood. And since the face is digital, owners can select from nearly infinite custom dials designed by the TAG Heuer Studio.
