Researchers Prove 3-D Printing Human Tissue Is Possible

Scientists can print bone, muscle, and cartilage

Researchers from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center proved it is possible to generate living tissue from a 3-D printer. Although it’s not quite ready to apply for human transplants, the tissue has lasted up to several months in animal subjects. Read the full study here.
