Travel to the Edge of Space With Mr. Sulu From ‘Star Trek’

Actor George Takei (a.k.a. Mr. Sulu on Star Trek) is offering 20 Trekkies the chance to join him on a zero-gravity flight to celebrate the original TV series’ 50th anniversary on Aug. 4. Participants will don flight suits and board a custom modified Boeing 727, in which they will be able to “experience true weightlessness and an exhilarating freedom from Earth’s pull,” according to event organizers, Roddenberry Adventures. Tickets start at $6,500, and are already on sale here.
