We Built a Big Beautiful New Website for You!
And that’s not even the best surprise we have in store
Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears. We’ve come to bury the old InsideHook. But in its place, we’ve built something better.
You’ve probably already noticed the obvious at this point: a brand new website, with improved navigation, a more user-friendly interface and a better-looking design (sure, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but come on).
What we’re most excited about, though, is something less apparent: new content. Loads of it. Our editorial team has doubled in size and talent overnight, because the men’s news and lifestyle outlet formerly known as RealClearLife is now a part of InsideHook.
The RealClearLife team will be providing you with a daily brief on the most important news items of the day: current events, sports, culture, technology, science, health — you name it. To get acquainted with our new editors and what they bring to the table, I recommend Evan Bleier’s interview with LeBron biographer Brian Windhorst, or Ariel Scotti’s coverage of Prince Harry’s crusade to raise awareness for mental health.
Elsewhere, our new Features Editor Jason Diamond is programming (and penning) a ton of top-shelf stories, like this essay on how Robert Caro became the most important historian in America, or this retrospective on the golden age of John Cusack, the wokest leading man of the ‘80s.
And Executive Editor Mike Conklin, who joined us last fall, is working to bring you even more of the great product recommendations, travel intel and lifestyle advice that we’ve long hung our hat on. Check out the new Goods carousel on the front page for the latest deals on menswear, watches and gear from around the web.
Coming soon: a redesign of our newsletters and a new local edition — our first since Chicago in 2014.
Welcome to a new era of InsideHook. We couldn’t be more excited to have you along for the ride. Don’t hesitate to drop me a line if you have any questions or comments.
