I’ve met a few people who claim to enjoy doing the dishes. But I’ve never met a single person who likes vacuuming — and while I can be skeptical of tech devices that promise to make your life easier, I can safely endorse this line of thinking when it comes to robot vacuums.
Basically, these are slim set-it-and-forget-it devices that’ll keep your floors (and carpets) clean on a schedule … or through an app or voice controls, in some cases. And the really good ones? They can also mop — and your job is basically to hit a button and get out of the way.
Eufy (a subsidiary of Anker) currently has two of their RoboVacs on sale. The premium model is the RoboVac L70 Hybrid, which utilizes AI-enhanced mapping technology, a 2.5-hour run-time per charge and the ability to both vacuum and mop.
Not quite as powerful and lacking the mopping option — but certainly more svelte and much cheaper — eufy’s BoostIQ RoboVac 15C MAX promises a cleaning experience that’s no louder than an operating microwave.
