Camping trailers. They’re basically boxes built for the out of doors.
That’s to say: not all of them have to be teardrop models, but most of them are.
But TAXA Outdoors is bucking the trend with an out-of-the-box trailer concept called the TigerMoth. A lightweight trailer that only measures six feet wide, the 900-pound TigerMoth is a versatile camper that can be towed nearly anywhere by almost any vehicle with four or more cylinders.
With optional solar panels and an electric system that can store up enough juice for a week, the TigerMoth also has a five-gallon water tank and a pull-out kitchen with ample storage space.
The TigerMoth’s cabin has a large side hatch that provides easy access to the outdoors, a bed that stows away, a NASA-inspired storage system that maximizes space for wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted cargo, and an exterior roof rack next to a cargo storage deck.
Capable of holding two adults, the Tigermoth is available in both Camp and Trek models.
