California Winery to Distribute a Marijuana-Infused Sauvignon Blanc

No, we didn’t say port wine.

We said pot wine.

After performing some “extremely annoying mad scientist sh*t,” a California winery is planning to offer Marijuana-Infused Sauvignon Blanc, a 2017 blend that is completely legal following the passing of Proposition 64 in the Golden State.

What makes the special Sauvignon Blanc safe for Rebel Coast Winery to sell is that bottles of the wine, while infused with 16mg of THC, have had all of the alcohol removed from them. Rebel Coast had to do that in order to meet a Prop 64 requirement that makes it illegal to sell alcohol in the same location as marijuana or combine them into the same product.

So will a couple glasses have you confused about whether Dave is here or not? According to Rebel Coast, probably not, as there is only about 4mg of THC in each glass (the state permits up to 10mg per serving).

“Our goal is not to kill you after you’ve had a few glasses,”  Rebel Coast says. “The goal is to get giggly and naked with someone. We set out to mimic the experience you’d find with traditional wine; a couple glasses will put most people in a great place.”

Priced at $60 a bottle, Rebel Coast is currently taking preorders with the intention of shipping ’em out next month. Unfortunately, the offer is only available for California residents for now.

Enjoy the complete and utter lack of hangovers, dude.
