Marshawn Lynch and Bear Grylls Make an Insane Yet Likeable Pair

Dreadlock fires, blood-smearing and backwoods heart-to-hearts

Super Bowl champ Marshawn Lynch took some time off from eating Skittles recently to appear on Running Wild with Bear Grylls. As you might have guessed, Beast Mode did not disappoint.

During their trip through France’s Corsican Mountains, Grylls and Lynch chased a wild hog off a cliff, pulled said hog back up, smeared its blood on their faces after gutting it, and then cooked it over a fire made of the ex-All Pro’s dreadlocks. They also chatted to each other and the camera.

Here are some photos along with a few of the ex-Seahawk’s most memorable lines:

“Usually if I’m cutting my pig it’s fried or something.  I’m tell you man, this dude is crazy, on the real. Straight up, I’m probably not gonna eat another piece of pig ever, no more swine. It’s over.”

“Bear cut off one of my dreads to start a campfire and was juiced about it like ‘Oh my god, this is the best thing since sliced bread.’”

“If he has me dangling off another cliff, then I’m gonna have to put paws on him, I don’t know how I’m gonna do it yet because I know he be fighting stuff in the wild. I gotta make sure my attack is planned — right and well.”

“I think the theme of the show shouldn’t be running wild, it should be Bear be tripping.”
