Hubble Telescope Sends Back Image of ‘Irregular Galaxy’

NASA’s Hubble Telescope took this image of NGC 5408, an “irregular galaxy” first discovered in 1834. It’s one of just 25 percent of galaxies, which are called “irregular” because of their indefinable shape.
