Please Stop Riding Your Bike in a Suit. There’s a Better Way.

A waxed canvas bag for boardroom-bound cyclists

You have a meeting. You must wear the suit.

You also have a personal obligation to your body, the environment and the physical fitnesses thereof. You must ride the bike.

Therein lies a dilemma.

In order to allow boardroom-bound cyclists to hold court wearing wrinkle-free suits, Canadian brand Two Wheel Gear came up with the Classic 2.0 Garment Pannier. The waxed canvas bag has enough room for up to five suits, a pair of shoes, a 17-inch laptop and whatever odds and ends might come in handy at the office or en route.

The gentlemanly garment bags are water resistant on their own, but also come with a fluorescent rain cover in case of downpours. They’re available in either black or graphite and need to be used with bikes that have a rear rack in order to function effectively.

“Our waxed collection are limited-edition bags that we make in small batches,” Vancouver-based TWG says. “These tend to go pretty fast.”

Luckily, our neighbors to the north still have a few of $269 bags in stock. Order up.
