Sometimes we experience spooky synchronicity here at InsideHook. Yesterday, we extolled the virtues of the white-dial watch; today, one of our favorite white-dial quartz watches, the 38mm Q Timex, just happens to be on sale for 50% off at End.
We’ve written all about the Q Timex before, how in bringing back a style from the ‘70s Timex has actually made us excited about wearing quartz watches again. With this particular model, while the aesthetics that carry across the lineup certainly shine (geometric indices, squared-off case), it’s the color scheme that’s the star, the white dial accentuating the red-and-blue Pepsi-esque bezel. It’s bold, it’s timeless, and you’re not going to find a better discount out there.
One more reason to pick up this timepiece: it appears Timex is no longer selling this particular model. The Q Timex will be sticking around, but the white-dial version may be discontinued; a little poking around shows Huckberry is also slashing the price on this edition (though not as steeply). So if you want this watch, not only is this End sale a steal, it may also be your last chance.
