It’s been an eventful year for Australian rockers AC/DC. Longtime lead singer Brian Johnson was replaced for the group’s Rock or Bust World Tour by Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose because of Johnson’s hearing loss issues. (Johnson has since said he believes a new in-ear monitor will let him return to performing.) AC/DC also collaborated with Mexico’s Fabrica de Tequilas Finos to create Thunderstruck tequila. Available in Silver, Reposado, and Anejo, the AC/DC-branded tequila is expected to sell for between $29.99 and $39.99.
The legendary band, which formed in 1973, already created an AC/DC beer with Karlsberg Brauerei. The can proclaims: “GERMAN BEER. AUSTRALIAN HARDROCK.”
