In today’s sartorial climate, the term graphic tee has almost become a dirty word, its associations leaning more toward Ed Hardy, Affliction and overpriced streetwear than vintage concert tees or the Schlitz beer shirt you inherited from your dad.
But the graphic tee is a broad-reaching category, so you’d be wise to not “throw the baby out with the bathwater,” as it were. The key to a quality iteration is that it is understated above all else. If it has some vintage vibes to it, all the better.
The ongoing collab between Todd Snyder and Champion has long been one of our favorites, perfectly straddling the line between upscale menswear and retro athleisure.
