We tend to associate anything made by the Austin, TX-based Howler Brothers with surfing, fly fishing and other outdoor pursuits. For us, it’s been a summer brand.
But the company’s new collaboration with menswear commerce giant Huckberry has us excited to carry that outdoorsy spirit in to the fall. The joint effort, the North Coast Jungle Collection, was inspired by adventures in California’s northern coast. The pants, coats and vests here feel a little more campfire-friendly and made for days and nights when you’ll want an extra layer.
There’s still color here, but outside of one shirt and one hat, it’s subtle. For the most part, it’s tans, blues, greens and dark plaids — an autumnal mix.

Stockman Stretch Snapshirt
A long-sleeve that’s easy to roll up, and one that stays both breathable and dry in inclement weather.
Mansfield Shirt
This lightweight and vibrant short-sleeve has a dedicated sunglasses pocket and a glass-cleaning microfiber at the hem.
Lightning Quilted Jacket
Water- and abrasion-resistant, this ripstop polyester shell (with a hidden jungle print) has 60-gram PrimaLoft filling to keep you toasty. And it packs down tightly when not in use.
ATX Work Pant
Available in three colors, the double-knee work pant has four-way stretch and a gusseted crotch for extra mobility.
Rounder Vest
Inspired by classic western styles, this blue/khaki shell is water-resistant and provides insulation where you need it most — around your core.
