Nothing like a good ol’ fox hunt, right? The smell of gun powder in the air, the hounds barking, and the thrill of the chase. If that’s what you’re looking for, you’re in the wrong place. This is a different kind of hunt.
Each year, Red Bull gets one of the most talented mountain bikers on the circuit to partake in their version of a fox hunt. Playing the part of the hounds? Four-hundred mountain bikers. Looking to outrun those very cyclists is pro rider Gee Atherton, playing the part of the fox. The event went down in Ireland, on a 3.5 mile–long trail in Rostrevor. Ever the competitor, Atherton showed the 400 cyclists no mercy, pushing them to their limit. Watch the grueling results below.
