After starting quarterback Josh Allen left the game with an elbow injury on Sunday, backup QB Nathan Peterman came in to save the day for the Houston Texans.
Unfortunately, Peterman was behind center for the Buffalo Bills.
For a little bit, it looked like Peterman might win the game for his actual team as he managed to toss a tight touchdown pass to give the Bills a 13-10 advantage over the Texans.

Unfortunately, Peterman did what he does best after the Texans tied the game at 13 all and threw an interception which was returned for a touchdown.

With the Bills still clinging to a glimmer of hope, Peterman then had the chance to lead them back from the deficit he had just created, but he didn’t.
Instead, he tossed another pick which iced the game for the Texans.
Peterman now has 10 interceptions on 82 career pass attempts for an interception rate of 12.2 percent. He has only 334 yards passing yards and three touchdowns.
Allen is undergoing an MRI on his elbow today and it seems very likely he will miss at least one game. If he does, that means Peterman will be back under center when the Bills travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts on Sunday.
