After starting 0-3, there haven’t been any problems in Houston for the Texans.
Following their horrendous start and pundits calling for the firing of head coach Bill O’Brien, the Texans have reeled off eight straight wins, including a 34-17 victory of the Tennesee Titans on Monday Night Football last night.
With the win, the Texans now have a two-game lead over the Colts in the AFC South and are a virtual lock for a playoff spot. But that doesn’t mean they are satisfied.
“We need to try and keep getting better,” said O’Brien. “We need to take the mantra that we’re going to improve every day.”
In the win, quarterback Deshaun Watson threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score. Demaryius Thomas was on the receiving end of Watson’s touchdowns and running back Lamar Miller ran for 162 yards, including a 97-yard TD.

With the loss, the Titans dropped to 5-6 and are almost eliminated from playoff contention.
Marcus Mariota was nearly perfect in the loss as he completed 22 of 23 passes for 303 yards and two touchdowns. His first incompletion came with just more than a minute remaining on the clock.
