WWE superstars John Cena and Daniel Bryan are out – but wrestling legend Hulk Hogan is back in.
Hogan will make his return to the WWE when the entertainment company hosts its controversial Crown Jewel event in Saudia Arabia.
The event, which has come under fire for not being canceled in the wake of the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, has been a hot-button issue this week, causing some to knock it and some to come out in support of it.
When Hogan returns, it will be the first time he has been at a WWE event since he was exiled from the company and removed from the WWE Hall of Fame after racist remarks he made came to light back in 2015.
He was reinstated to the Hall of Fame in July, paving the way for his WWE return.
Once the event in Saudi Arabia is over, Hogan may be back with the company in a larger role.
“There are a lot of plans in the works,” Hogan previously told The Orlando Sentinel. “I’m looking forward to going to Saudi Arabia with the WWE, looking forward to WrestleMania — but yeah, we’re moving forward at a rapid pace. It’s exciting to have this opportunity again after all these years where I was there and gone.”
