Despite being heavily favored and playing at home, the New York Jets completely crashed during a 41-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
A fan who was charged with drunken driving after the game did the same – and then blamed it on the team.
According to police, Christopher Greyshock of West Milford rear-ended another vehicle on Sunday afternoon about an hour after the game in the Meadowlands went final.
When officers responded to the crash, authorities say Greyshock the 57-year-old told police: “I drank too much because the Jets suck.”
A search of Greyshock’s vehicle allegedly turned up a joint, a bag of marijuana and an open bottle of bourbon.

When he was given a breathalyzer, Greyshock blew a 0.13. In New Jersey, the legal limit for blood alcohol concentration is .08 percent.
However, considering more than 20, 000 drunken-driving convictions were just reversed in the state because of bad breathalyzer tests, perhaps those results should be taken with a grain of salt.
