After being released on Friday, the Cowboys’ all-time leader in touchdown catches won’t be playing in Big D next season.

The question is, where will Dez Bryant be taking his talents for the 2018 NFL season?

Likely looking for a team with a good amount of cap space to allocate to his contract as well as a decent shot to make the playoffs (a rarity during his days in the Dallas), the options for Bryant aren’t overwhelmingly plentiful.

Although he reportedly wants to remain in the NFC East, that might be difficult as the Giants and Eagles are both lacking cap space as well as the need for a receiver like Bryant.

That leaves the Redskins and their $17,161,175 in cap room. While the Redskins could fit Bryant in, they already have wideouts Josh Doctson, Jamison Crowder and newly signed Paul Richardson on the roster, all of whom are expected to be featured prominently, making Dez in D.C. unlikely.

More likely is that Bryant will give up on his dream to stay in the NFC East and face the Cowboys twice a year and instead head to the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Seattle Seahawks, Oakland Raiders, New York Jets, Chicago Bears or Buffalo Bills.

Of those seven teams, the Ravens and Raiders probably offer the best combination of pay and playoff potential.
