With the addition of Odell Beckham to an already up-and-coming roster, the Cleveland Browns are certainly the most intriguing team in a new-look AFC North.
But, are they the most talented?
According to John Harbaugh, the coach of the division rival Baltimore Ravens, the answer is yes.
With Beckham on the Browns and Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell no longer on the Steelers, Harbaugh has come to the conclusion that the Browns are the team to beat in the AFC North.
“They’re the most talented team in the division,” Harbaugh said of the Browns. “There’s no question about that right now. And we’ll see what that means, you know? I know this. That’s right now. The best team in the division is the team that’s going to win the division. So we’ll see what the best team is.”
Now, without veteran defenders Terrell Suggs, C.J. Mosley, and Eric Weddle on his roster, Harbaugh will have to figure out how to defend against Beckham and his new teammates Baker Mayfield, Jarvis Landry, and Kareem Hunt.
There’s a good chance he will as the longtime Baltimore coach has gone 19-3 against the Browns since 2008.
For Harbaugh, despite Cleveland’s new pieces, it’s still business as usual.
“We’ve literally had dogfights with the Browns and every other team in our division every single year,” he said. “So it’s no different for us, for the Ravens. We’re not sitting here going ‘Oh, it’s the new Browns.’ The Browns have always been tough. The Browns have always been a handful. Yeah, they’re even better. They’ve got a great quarterback now and to me it’s the Browns, we’ve got to beat them.”
