The relationship issues another star quarterback is having with his higher-ups have been getting all the attention, but it sounds as if things between a Pro Bowl signal-caller who lives outside of New England and his front office have started to sour as well.

According to Yahoo Sports, Green Bay franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers has become  “frustrated” with the lack of input he has had on the decisions the front office of the Packers has made this offseason.

Those decisions include getting rid of longtime Green Bay wideout Jordy Nelson and quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt, moves Rodgers called “interesting” and said he wasn’t consulted about.

The lack of involvement reportedly has the two-time NFL MVP feeling “emotional” about his relationship with the front office.

“I know he’s thinking about that stuff when it comes to the next contract because he should have earned a voice by now,” a league source told Yahoo Sports. “In other places with [elite] quarterbacks, consideration is given to those guys. I think Aaron wants to be engaged in some decisions. But that’s just not the way it works [in Green Bay]. I think that’s obviously frustrating and it’s going to keep coming out.”

Rodgers threw for 1,675 yards and 16 touchdown in seven games last season but missed more than half the year due to a broken collarbone. Green Bay went 7-9 and missed the postseason.
