Mercedes G-Class by Kahn Design's Chelsea Truck Company

They’ve done it with American Jeep Wranglers.

They’ve done it with British Land Rover Defenders.

And now, to appease our German friends, Kahn Design’s SUV-centric Chelsea Truck Company is inviting Mercedes-Benz G-Class owners to the customization party.

After unveiling a customized Benz — the G63 AMG Hammer Edition — at the Geneva Motor Show, Kahn and CTC will make one-off G-Class models part of their permanent repertoire.

Equipped with an LED-laden front grille, a new rear roof spoiler, retro wheels, a custom leather interior with hand-stitched detailing and a new exhaust system, the Hammer Edition put what CTC learned from years of working on Wranglers and Defenders on full display for Geneva to see.

“The Chelsea Truck Company is well known for its for iconic off road vehicles,” said Kahn CEO Afzal Kahn. “Now we’re adding a classic German design.”
