It’s a rare thing when a man can be vain and virtuous at the same time.
This is that moment.
Introducing Movember & Co.’s new barbershop in Culver City, open now.
Movember & Co., as you may know, is the mustache-growing nonprofit that raises money to fight cancers that affect gentledudes (in other words, cancer of the junk).
Their new cut shop, run in partnership with the Blind Barber, is a genuine throwback.
Big leather chairs. Darkly painted walls. Men brandishing scissors and impressive mustaches.
They’ll set you up right with any cut you desire: side part, faux hawk, duck’s ass — whatever.
The proceeds from your clip fund research and action on a global level. Since 2003, Movember’s netted over $550M.
The shop’s only open on Friday afternoons.
So make it a devotional. After you’re set up right, we suggest hiking the Baldwin Hills scenic overlook, trailhead directly across the street.
You’ll be taking care of yourself.
Thusly, you’ll be taking care of us all.
Vanity, meet virtue.
