Last year alone, more than 10,000 people suffered papercuts during coupon-cutting mishaps.
It’s an epidemic. And only one man can save us from it.
That man: Simon Lyons, the creator of Nimble, a thimble-like device that gives your fingertip the ability to slice and dice whatever comes its way.
Lightweight and convenient, the Nimble uses a tiny ceramic blade that can cut through packaging, tape, envelopes and other moderately tough materials — though Lyons claims it won’t break skin: “Although Nimble’s blade is sharp, it is too small to penetrate skin and cause injury. This is because skin is too tough and flexible so it bends out of the way.”
So much for the Wolverine fantasies.
But if you’re sick and tired of using scissors like a normal person, the one-size-fits-all Nimble is funding on Indiegogo and Kickstarter and there are a variety of options and bundles.
Hopefully it works on pizza.
