Lucky for you: America is about second chances. And the 2017 Concepts x New Balance campaign is here to forgive.
The New England-based footwear co-op is re-stocking four original silhouettes from its collab with Concepts International, a clothing retailer founded just down the road two decades ago in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Included in the release: A dusted red high-top called “Des Sables” that riffs on desert motifs. An inky midnight purple named “Tyrian” based on a shade inspired by a sea snail. An instant classic that goes by “Esplanade” crafted with Boston’s Charles River waterfront on the mind. And of course, in tribute to the port region’s close ties to sailing and the sea, the “Hyannis,” complete with crisp nautical flourishes and a vibrant red-and-blue colorway.
“Hyannis” relaunches online at New Balance and Concepts today, and the other models drop tomorrow.
Go on. Make this right.
