Last summer, aspirational electronics brand of record Bang & Olufsen released their flagship TV with LG, and let’s just say we were more than a little taken with how couch-potato-friendly it is (even for a TV).
On the heels of what’s been a fairly ecstatic reception for a $10-15K purchase, the brand gave Danish designer Torsten Valeur space to create a new model of the TV, which was released with a handsome aluminum soundbar. The result is a handbuilt oak throwback to the often-fake wood paneling of vintage electronics, executed with extreme precision.
The box retains the 4K OLED panel and 450 watt speakers, and of course the remote-controlled movement of the initial release.
The new version will be available in April.
