This Is a Full Thanksgiving Dinner, in Giant Doughnut Form

It's an enigma wrapped in a mystery wrapped in cranberry icing

November 22, 2016 9:00 am EST

Had the Pilgrims served this at the first Thanksgiving, they might have all died of diabetes or spiked cholesterol and never had another.

What it is: the Thanksgiving Ripple, a three-ringed monster featuring layers of cranberry, sweet potato and crystallized ginger doughnuts.

Available exclusively at Doughnut Plant in Chelsea, the concentric creation also inspired the Berry Parfait (blueberry, granola, raspberry) and Mochaccino (mocha, coffee, milk) Ripples. Priced at $24, the “doughnut in a doughnut in a doughnut” might actually be a viable option for replacing your pumpkin or pecan pie: it’s sliceable and serves 6-8 people.

Gravy not included.
