What starts off small often ends big — just look at Burning Man, which began with a few friends on a sandy beach, and turned into 50,000 friends in a sandy desert.

Introducing the latest “radical form of self-expression” that came from small beginnings: FoodShop, a pop-up dinner party serving delicious, farm-to-table eats in a metalsmith’s workshop, taking reservations now.

Food Shop

Founded as a casual Sunday dinner in Venice by a small group of friends, Food Shop’s now a monthly dinner party in a romantically lit metalsmith’s studio, where an architect-turned-chef serves succulent farm-raised dishes. And you’re invited.

FoodShop meets monthly, and with November comes a Middle Eastern feast of delicious eats: lamb kebabs, Tomato Shakshouka (poached egg, braised tomato, garlic, paprika), and desserts made by Hyejin Cho.

Food Shop

The next FoodShop invites won’t be sent until this weekend, but to grab a seat early, email FoodShop and mention InsideHook. Seats are limited, it’s BYOB (they’ll give recommendations), and donations are encouraged.

The food’s so good, you’ll start small and end big, too.
