Getting away from it all at a beautiful location in the middle of nowhere for a few days: good.
Paying through the nose to stay at said beautiful location due to supply and demand: bad.
To help with that particular quandary, Barcelona-based inventor Borja Solé created a foldable sleeping system that allows a van or car with a foldable backseat to function as a bedroom.
Small enough to fit in a portable tote bag, the adjustable Camperbox is essentially a buildable bed frame with a fold-out platform that’s strong enough to support two sleepers. The Camperbox doesn’t include an actual bed, but it can easily hold a foam mattress or a couple sleeping bags.
Lightweight and easy to assemble, the Camperbox is now available on Kickstarter for $180.
