A video which has leaked onto the internet shows 2017 Masters winner Sergio Garcia throwing his club at his caddie after he hit a poor tee shot on the fifth hole at Royal Portrush during the final round of the Open Championship over the weekend.
In the clip, the Spaniard hits his shot and then tosses the club at his caddie as the crowd watches and gasps.

To make matters worse for Garcia in the court of public opinion, the caddie is none other than his brother, Victor Garcia.
Garcia, who began his round on Sunday with four pars in a row, went on to make double bogey on the par-4 hole. That was the beginning of the end for his round and the 39-year-old ultimately finished with a seven-over 78 on the final day at Portrush.
Thanks to that poor finish, Garcia ended up at six-over for the tournament, in a tie for 67th place.
This isn’t the first time Garcia has thrown a tantrum on the course as he was disqualified from the Saudi International tournament in February after he left at least five greens with divots and scuff marks after during the third round of the tourney.
“I feel terrible about it,” Garcia said at his next tournament. “I’ve been thinking about it for the last week, every day. I’m an emotional player. That emotion is probably my biggest strength, but it’s also one of my biggest flaws. If I channel it the right way, it’s amazing. I think that’s why people follow me the way they do. If I channel it the wrong way, it’s too extreme. My goal is to make sure the bad gets better and the good stays.”
Garcia’s brother was caddying for him at that event as well.
