Yeah, you read that right. Think John Wick meets "Babe."

As Deadline reports, production began today on Nicolas Cage’s latest movie, and it sounds incredible.

Just read this synopsis: “A truffle hunter, played by Cage, lives alone in the Oregonian wilderness. When his beloved foraging pig is kidnapped, he must journey into Portland – and his long-abandoned past – to recover her.”

The movie, aptly entitled Pig, will be directed by Michael Sarnoski and will also star Hereditary‘s Alex Wolff alongside Cage. “What began as a very personal project has transformed into a labor of love for so many talented people,” Sarnoski told Deadline. “I’m thrilled for us all to be bringing this strange world to life.”

Vanessa Block, who co-wrote the movie with Sarnoski, added, “Sometimes a unique set of circumstances exists for the telling of a pure human story. The creative alchemy of a phenomenal cast and crew has further actualized this magic we’re eager to share with others.”

There’s no word yet on when we can expect this Taken-meets-Portlandia pig kidnapping to hit the big screen, but it sure as hell won’t be soon enough.
