The 2020 Oscar nominations were announced this morning (Jan. 13), and Todd Phillips’ super-villain origin story Joker leads the pack with 11 nominations, followed closely by Martin Scorsese’s lengthy mob drama The Irishman, Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Sam Mendes’ World War I drama 1917 — which each netted 10 nominations.

Greta Gerwig’s Little Women earned several nominations, including Best Picture, but she was snubbed for Best Director, meaning that the nominees in that category are once again all men.
