GQ published a photo last week that looked a little… off.
The picture, which captured LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman and Dropbox CEO Drew Houston while on “pilgrimage” to an Italian village, was unveiled by BuzzFeed News as totally doctored. Two female CEOs, Lynn Jurich and Ruzwana Bashir, were photoshopped into the group shot to make it known, it appears, that the journey included a couple of women and wasn’t comprised entirely of 15 men.
LMAO THEY PHOTOSHOPPED THE WOMEN IN.

The doctored image appeared on the Instagram account of designer Brunello Cucinelli — whom the group was visiting — and was posted by GQ as the lead image of the magazine’s coverage of the meet up. A reverse image search on Google revealed the before picture, sans the two female leaders, posted to the LinkedIn account of a Milan-based partner at Barabino & Partners, an Italian communications firm that’s done work for Cucinelli, BuzzFeed reported.
“When we realized we didn’t have a shot where all attendees were represented, we added in photos of two female CEOs taken during the weekend,” a Cucinelli spokesperson wrote to BuzzFeed News. “The photos were shared and approved with all the participants including the two women, Lynn Jurich and Ruzwana Bashir, before posting them on Instagram and they also shared the group photo on their own Instagram handles.
“We meant no harm,” the statement continued, “or had any malicious intent in doing this and we are sorry.”
