But as Michael Phelps proved during a lip-sync performance of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” last night, the 23-time gold medalist can get shady as well.
Clad in a black hooded jumpsuit and oversized boots, Phelps hit the stage during a live taping of Spike’s Lip Sync Battle to whip the crowd into a frenzy with a rendition of Slim Shady’s 2002 hit.
Other contestants on the show — including John Legend, Terry Crews and Olivia Munn — did their best (Munn brought out brought out Olympic gymnasts Aly Raisman and Simone Biles in tutus), but Phelps easily walked away with W.
As other Olympians have already learned, beating Phelps is easier said than done.
