Jimmy Kimmel on Monday night said he likes to imagine facial expressions worn by the president’s lawyers after they read tweets like Trump sent out on Sunday: “I bet they carry pillows to scream into.”

President Trump wrote that Donald Trump Jr. met with Russians “to get information on an opponent,” causing Kimmel (and other late-night hosts) to wonder if this flip-flop will assist special counsel Robert Mueller.
“Not since Robert Durst and ‘The Jinx’ has a defendant done such a good job of convicting himself publicly. But Donald Trump does what the syphilis tells him to do, he doesn’t listen to anybody,” Kimmel said.
Colbert echoed similar sentiments, saying: “The biggest takeaway from this tweet is that he’s straight-up admitting that this was a meeting with representatives of the Russian government to get information on an opponent. Also known as collusion.”
